EXCEL IN THE GRACE OF GIVING

As God’s dear children, we have an unending and unlimited supply of Graces. He is the One who has provided it and has invited us to enjoy as much of it as we can (Hebrews 4:16 – “…come boldly unto the throne of grace…and find grace…”).

Amongst the graces available to us as God’s dear children is one that is so important to The Haven member, the grace of giving. Not every child of God may recognize the presence of this grace in Christ. However, it is important that as Haven members, we excel in this particular grace (2nd Cor 8:7: “…see that you also excel in this grace of giving”).
This demonstrates your unwavering financial commitment to the propagation of the Gospel all around the world.

There are several ways we can walk and excel in this grace of giving:

1.  Recognize and accept that this grace is available to you now. Confess that you are walking in the grace of giving.
2. Be conscious of the reality of this grace at work in your life irrespective of circumstances or challenges and choose to keep giving not withholding your hand.
3. Decide to be a cheerful giver in the House of God (2nd Cor 9:7-8: “… God loveth a cheerful giver… God is able to make all grace abound toward you…”).

Remember, this grace of giving is not to be frustrated. Think it, talk it, work it, and you will walk in greater measures of it (James 4:6 – “But He giveth more grace…”).
