Grace and Unending Praise Delivered It

I would like to testify God’s great love and grace towards me in this first half of the year. A big thank you to my man of God, my father, and the prophet of our time, Rev Dr. Chris Oyakhilome for not only all that he has taught me over the years but for the many graces I have been impacted with through his teachings. I would also like to thank my Esteemed Haven President, Pastor Ekele Uhiara, and my Esteemed Zonal Director, Pastor Obasi Nwamadi for their inspirational leadership and for always leading us in triumphant procession. Thank you, Sirs, for the opportunity to share my testimony.

For almost three years now I have been trying to transition to a different industry for which I had no prior experience and went through some training to help me accomplish this. I made some effort to get interviews after the training but did not get any in the first year. I tried again later but somehow it didn’t seem to be working and so I moved the plan to the back burner.

This year, I was determined to put the word of God to work, increase the grace and make it happen. When The Haven International Convention with the man of God, Pastor Chris was announced earlier this year, I knew that was it! I knew that just by being in the same space with the man of God and hearing him; I would be changed into another man and return with many graces. Among the many words Pastor spoke into my life he said my life would be a manifestation of God’s grace, and that I will do the impossible, the unthinkable, and the unimaginable by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Fast forward to after The Haven Convention, I started to send out my resume again, then came the month of prayer and unending praise and I set alarms for 12 noon and 10 pm and made sure I participated daily in the unending praise as instructed by Pastor Chris. With great grace received in May and unending praise activated in June, I received so many requests for interviews I had to start rejecting and ignoring some, and for the interviews I attended, there was so much favour and great grace that preceded me, the interviewers were really excited to talk with me and move me to the next level of the interview. Even when I mistakenly logged in an hour later for a final level interview because of a mix-up in the time zones and the HR lady emailed me implying that I had lost out because I missed the interview time; Grace showed up!!! I started declaring that “Christ is my riddance and even in my mistakes I have the advantage”. The Holy Spirit told me to speak in tongues till the top of the hour. By the time I was done and checked my email, the HR lady had sent me another email apologizing for the mix-up and asking if I was available for the interview to be rescheduled for a later date. Not only was the interview rescheduled, but I also got an offer from the company after that interview.

The Hiring Manager for another company that I was interviewing with was so excited when she spoke with me that she said even though I did not fit into any of the two roles she had posted and the one I applied for, she said really wanted me on her team and so she created another role for me and said I did not need to apply again, I would just interview with some of the people on that team and then we would go from there. Less than 5 minutes after that interview, the Hiring Manager called me to offer me a job that would pay more than double what I currently earn, in an industry that I had no prior experience, in an industry I had been trying to pivot to for almost 3 years… Essentially, I had two job offers that came in two weeks apart, both paying very well, and had the “good problem” of figuring out which one I would accept. The company that sent in their offer later offered to help me draft a rejection letter so that I could reject the first offer and accept their own. Grace and unending praise delivered in 3 weeks what I had been trying to do for almost 3 years.
Glory to God!! The Holy Spirit literally took me by the hand and led me from victory to victory and this is just the beginning!
