My Testimony of the efficacy of God’s word.
Firstly, I like to express my gratitude to God for our Man of God, Rev. Dr Chris Oyahkilome, for teaching me the word which has built and raised me to be relevant in the kingdom and also in society, also my heartfelt appreciation to our International President Pastor Ekele Uhiara, for always putting the word of God in front of us as our mirror to look all the time. The list can’t be complete without appreciating my Zonal Director, Dcn Emmanuel Duku for pushing us to go beyond the limit, even when it appears sometime as him been chastising us. Thank you, Sir.

We have a media agency based in Abuja, Nigeria, though young and evolving, we have a few clients, both national and international we manage their media portfolio. This year, we started quite well. We planned and concluded media activities for one of our biggest clients. In-fact, POs for execution have started rolling in, BANG! Here comes COVID-19, we were asked to suspend implementation of all POs issued, this affected our inflow. Since we can’t execute PO, no payment can be made, this was the first time we would execute a project for these clients as an agency. It was a devastating experience as all plans and expectations where halted, not to mentioned staff welfare. This happened early march, 2020.

I told myself, I won’t lay off any of my staff irrespective of the situation and will keep my focus. I came back home, started praying, especially joining the early morning prayers and on April 9th we had a program with the International President “Standing As The Light”. While the President was on with his message, I had this prompting in my spirit to give. I didn’t really connect the seed to any expectation, but the nudge in my spirit was so strong. Immediately, I transferred what I had then to the zonal account and participated until the end of the program. I didn’t know God has a bigger plan for us.

End of April, the first miracle happened. We got a mail from UNICEF for a media campaign engagement across sub-Saharan Africa in the lockdown period, on an LTA(Long Term Agreement) engagement of our agency for a period of 2years starting July.

In May, another miracle happened, our company got engaged to provide digital media contents for an American company for life. ALL two appointments are currently been set up, as at the time of writing this testimony. They requested we apply for our DUNS number, which is a requirement to do business with US Company or in the US.

These appointments were not applied for, they got to see our website and contacted us. This can only be the Lord’s doing, in a time where jobs are been cancelled and companies been relieved of their appointments.

Even our clients here in Nigeria have started sending emails for guidelines for the commencement of our work soonest.

2 Corinthians 9: 7-8; let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]. And God is able to make all grace [every favour and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. I thought COVID-19 had crippled my year, I didn’t know God has a bigger plan.

I praise his name forever.
