TESTIMONY FROM BRO. JEFREE, Edmonton chapter, Haven ZE5
Thank you, President Sir, for giving me this opportunity to share my testimony.
Earlier in March, you mandated me to attend The Haven NEA in Ontario Canada, as you gave a word that there is something God is preparing for me at that meeting.
I will usually register for NEA and not find time to attend because I just got a dream job late last year.
President Sir, you asked me to buy my ticket and ensure I sent it for you to see, which I did.
Sir, I attended the program and the message “Stepping into God’s Plan”, continually is a rub off on me daily. The program was so loaded that I asked myself why I could have tried to miss the program.
Afterwards, I flew back to Edmonton and the issue of the pandemic was already taking a serious toll on the economy.
Sir, I was on a probationary contract pending my confirmation as permanent staff. Due to the pandemic, my company lost lots of site and business. They started cutting jobs and my contract was terminated with no restart date in sight but there was this peace in me and I was not perturbed for a second.
Within two weeks, I applied for a couple of Jobs and most interestingly job cuts were on the rise in the country.
Sir, I got like seven interviews within the lockdown period. One, in particular, was so impressed and presented a mind-blowing offer.
President Sir, I am resuming a new job with a new company as a permanent staff with a 20% pay increase and a higher position from my previous job.
President Sir, I was offered a higher position and the pay offered was just probationary, which is 20% more and will be increased after my probation period with extra benefits. This blew my mind as I was told the position I applied for, was not suitable for me. So I was offered a higher position with the company.
Sir, I want to thank you for your love and for making the vision of The Haven very clear to me. I am even more committed to The Haven vision, including paying my dues and other giving’s
The grace of God in The Haven is truly something to be associated with.
