My Testimony of Extravagant Grace

Good day to our Highly Esteemed President, Pst Ekele Uhiara; our very own Highly Esteemed ZE3 Director, GGT; my dearest Sub-Zone Governor, Esteemed Dcns Ebele Robinson; my leader and Governor of Haven, Dallas Chapter, Esteemed Dcn Femi Oketoki and Esteemed Leaders and Citizens of The Haven Nation all over the world. Peace be multiplied to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I bring you greetings from the peace-filled city of Dallas in Texas, USA. My life has always been characterized by testimonies. I am indeed loved and cherished by God. He keeps showering me and my family with His love, protection and wealth. I can only keep loving Him and making sure to carry out the mandate that He has given me.

At the end of 2021, I made the decision to stop paying rent by the end of my lease period, which was to be March 1st, 2022. I received the new lease contract for 2022, from the management company of the apartment complex where we reside and was shocked to notice that they had added over $400 to my monthly rent. I was so upset, I immediately started making inquiries about getting a mortgage to purchase a house. By January 2022 we had found a house and started the process of getting a mortgage. I had many reservations about the house we found. It was located about 40 miles away from my workplace which would mean that I would drive about 1 hr to and from work everyday. I didn’t like that at all. My realtor told me that the reason we couldn’t get any houses closer was that they were too expensive for my pay grade. Instead of me to debunk that myth or ‘supposed fact’ by Faith, I chose to agree with the so-call ‘reality’ on the ground and started making plans to buy it. The process was taking longer than necessary because the mortgage company was asking for a lot of documents, some of which were taking days and weeks to obtain. The sellers gave us several extensions on the closing date.

Then I began to look into the coming monthly mortgage and bill payments if the house purchase becomes a success. It would take so much from my paycheck that called for concern. The mortgage would take more than half of my salary which would leave the balance for bills, upkeep and partnerships. I went to God in prayer and said, “Lord, if my purchase of a house would mean that I would not be able to meet my financial obligations to the spread of the Gospel, then I would rather lose that house.”

On the 19th of February 2022, I fell from the attic unto a concrete floor at my workplace. I only sustained a hairline fracture to my tailbone. The amazing thing was that I fell on my side with my left hand protecting my head. No broken limbs or spinal bones. No fracture to my skull. NOTHING but a little fracture to the last bone on my spine which only caused pain while walking. Within 2 weeks I was back to work and in 6 weeks I had absolutely no more pain. During my recovery period, I came to realize that driving 2 hours every day to and from work was out of the question. The house seller asked me if I still wanted to continue with the purchase of the house, and I initially told them yes. But then the mortgage company expected me to bring a certain amount of money for the closing cost. I didn’t have that amount. I’m a member of The Haven and a partner in church. It’s very difficult for me to keep money in my bank account when the work of God needs it. By the second week in March We ended up cancelling the whole contract and to God be the Glory, I received back the money I had paid to the house seller as an initial deposit. You can already guess what I did with that money. Hahahaha!!!! Glory!!!!!

As soon as the contract was cancelled, I emptied the money I had saved (a portion of the closing cost on the house) in my bank account and sowed towards PCOx2 and church partnerships.

That same week, I came across an email ad. It was for the position of Lab Manager at a yet-to-be-opened IVF Clinic in Dallas. I applied for a similar position at their Houston location in mid-2021 but didn’t get it. So I sent an email to the recruiter who posted the ad and attached my CV. Long story short, I was the preferred candidate amongst all the applicants and got the job (within a space of 3 weeks). The offer I got was unbelievable. Over and above what I asked for. Almost double what I was earning from my previous company. Glory!!!!

Just before I left my old job in July 2022, I had been scheduled for surgery because I had uterine fibroids that caused me to lose so much blood that I was becoming anaemic. Two days before the surgery I had given my mid-year thanksgiving Offering. I prayed to God for all He had done for us in the 1st half of the year.  A few of my close sisters in the choir prayed with me that night declaring the surgery a success. Indeed, two days later the surgery was a success. Shortly after the surgery, I developed a pelvic infection. I was rushed to the emergency room where I had to spend a night. The next morning, an abscess was drained from my pelvic region and a pelvic drain was inserted. I had to go back home with that drain and was placed on a 21 days course of antibiotics. I was still in pain and feeling very dizzy all the time. But I maintained my confessions of faith and hold on to God, taking my medications as prescribed. A week later it was time for HSLHS with our dear man of God Pastor Chris.

Glory!!!! I had already sown my seed the week before. On the very first day of the program, I remember sitting in front of the TV screen at my fellow choir sister’s house where I had gone to recuperate. When it was time for Pastor to pray for the global audience, I unleashed my faith expectantly. I had no doubt in my heart that I would receive total restoration that same day. The first words the Pastor uttered was, “I pray for you now, that you receive strength.” He said a lot more, but That was all I needed to hear. My Spirit immediately LAMBANO’d those words. I took a hold of my healing and started giving glory to God. Later that night after the program had ended I went upstairs to rest. But I couldn’t rest. My spirit man was charged. I was so full of Joy. The Holy Ghost led me to PCDL and He made me watch Pastor’s teaching titled “The Impact of The Holy Spirit”. When I was done listening to that message, brethren, I was on fire. I spoke words of the spirit that catapulted me to another realm. I got up to use the restroom and discovered that I was no longer walking slowly. I was also not feeling dizzy at all. And all the pain was gone even though I still had the drain in situ (meaning ‘in place’) Glory!!!!! I didn’t need the pain medications anymore.

The next week I was scheduled to see my doctor. He saw that the drain was still active and referred me to go do an MRI. When he saw the result of the exam, he sent me back to the radiology department to get the drain reinserted because he ‘thought’ that another abscess had accumulated. But Glory to God, when the radiologist saw my MRI results, he did a confirmatory scan on me and immediately removed the drain saying it was just an ovarian cyst. That was the end of it all. No more drains. The infectious disease doctor wanted me to take another two weeks course of antibiotics therapy just to be sure the infection has receded. I told her that I didn’t need to take anymore because I was totally restored. I’m still doing very well two months later. Halleluyah!!!!!

Brethren, with all the treatments and examinations I received, I paid less than 10% of the total hospital bills. Not just because my insurance could cover some costs, but because I had a favour. At some point, my doctor asked me not to pay for my visits. God has just been awesome to me and my household. We can’t testify enough.

I want to thank the leadership and all members of the Haven nation for the tireless prayers we say upon our brethren. These words have propelled us to heights unimagined. Thank You Highly Esteemed President Sir and GGT for your constant admonitions.
My life has improved so much because of what I’ve learnt from you. I will continually be a testimony of God’s special love, Favour and Grace.

Halleluyah!!!!

Glory to God!

Thank you.

Warm Regards
